This title perfectly symbolizes my current work ethic and my continuing efficiency hopefully all the way until final presentation night. As research showcase is coming up quickly, I have definitely been diligently working to make sure my display board, portfolios, and extra materials appear as proper and polished.
This past weekend, I spent an hour alone choosing a different background for my homepage to change things up a little bit for this year. I wanted a fresh branding while still maintaining a consistent color scheme and layout. Thus, I ended up changing the navigation bar and my title. This made me realize how, sometimes, a complete overhaul is not necessary. My branding is something that has furthered me and encouraged me to be creative but also professional. Additionally, people are becoming more out-of-the-box with the way they market themselves, so the idea of professionalism is constantly changing.
Another assignment I have been persistently working on is my original work. My original work is over sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS, and as I have been researching and reviewing infant sleep products, it is alarming how many popular consumer products are not medically endorsed. So far, I have not found one that completely disregards SIDS prevention techniques, but I haven’t reviewed that many products yet, so it may eventually come along.
In conclusion, I am hoping to have my board revised and completely edited three or four days before research showcase so I can get feedback from my family and friends. My vision is that everything is perfect and I am anticipating to be even more prepared than last year so that I can make this an enjoyable learning experience.
